Introduction
In 2021, Nankai University launched eScience (ISSN: 2667-1417, CN: 12-1468/O6), an international journal publishing the latest and finest scientific and technological research in interdisciplinary fields related to energy, electrochemistry, electronics, and environment on the basis of its originality, importance, and general interest. eScience provides insights, innovation and imagination for these fields that are built by consecutive discovery and invention. eScience is overseen by the Ministry of Education of China, and its office is located at Nankai University.
The founding Editor-in-chief of eScience is Professor Jun Chen, an Academician of the CAS and the Vice President of Nankai University. The six Associate Editors include Professor Lynden A. Archer at Cornell University, Professor Jinghong Li at Tsinghua University, Professor Seeram Ramakrishna at the National University of Singapore, Professor Li-Zhu Wu at the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of CAS, Professor Shu-Hong Yu at University of Science and Technology of China, and Professor Jin Zhang at Peking University.
eScience is also committed to fostering diversity throughout the global scientific community. The editorial board is highly diverse in the editors’ nationality, age, and gender.
