Editor-in-Chief
Professor Jun Chen is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Director of the Key Laboratory of Advanced Energy Materials Chemistry and the Vice President of Nankai University. He has made important contributions to the synthetic chemistry of inorganic solid functional materials, the preparation of solid electrodes and the development of batteries. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of eScience.
Associate Editors
Professor Lynden A. Archer works in the Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society and a Member of the National Academy of Engineering. His research is rooted in nanoscale materials, including the investigation of how these materials behave at the fundamental level and their applications to electrochemical energy storage devices.
Professor Jinghong Li is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Head of Analysis Center and Chairman, Academic Committee of Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University. He has research interests include electroanalytical chemistry and bioanalysis, nanoanalysis and biosensing, physical electrochemistry and interfacial electrochemistry, material electrochemistry and nanoscopic electrochemistry.
Professor Seeram Ramakrishna, FREng, Everest Chair is an International Fellow (Academician) of the UK Royal Academy of Engineering, and the Director of Center for Nanofibers & Nanotechnology at the National University of Singapore He is regarded as the modern father of nanofibers. He is named among the World’s Most Influential Minds (Thomson Reuters) and the Top 1% Highly Cited Researchers in the world (Clarivate Analytics).
Professor Li-Zhu Wu is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a full professor of the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on photochemistry research, including artificial photosynthesis, visible light catalysis for organic transformation, and photoinduced electron transfer, energy transfer and chemical reactions in supramolecular systems.
Professor Shu-Hong Yu is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Director of the Division of Nanomaterials and Chemistry, Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Science at the Microscale, University of Science and Technology of China. He has made innovative contributions to the synthetic methodologies of inorganic nanomaterials, biomimetic material chemistry and self-assembled functional materials.
Professor Jin Zhang is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering, Peking University. He has made important contributions to the controlled synthesis and optical spectroscopy of carbon nanomaterials, including the chirality-controlled synthesis of single-walled carbon nanotube arrays, the exploration of new carbon allotropes, and the Raman spectroscopic study of carbon nanomaterials.
